About the Journal

The Journal of Family and Consumer Sciences Education, a publication of LEADFCS, is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and discussions of innovative professional practices to empower and sustain the profession of family and consumer sciences education. 

The Journal of Family and Consumer Sciences Education has been published since 1983. Articles are published as articles become available (once or twice annually). Prospective authors should consider the guidelines for authors and include implications for family and consumer sciences education in manuscript submissions. Authors do not need to be members of LEADFCS.
